C Bliss

A careful balance, deconstructing subtle arrangements, dry, effective and still... speaking to the imagination. "Unstoppable Economy", the debut EP of C Bliss (Ghent, BE) caught us by surprise.

Vincent and Pepijn's collaboration started out with spontaneous bedroom jams to slowly evolve into a more defined sound where deconstruction, balance and timing are key. Their music is often built around field recordings and textures that tickle the ears. It's not aiming at dance floors, but at your very own core with a mix of field recordings, electronic and acoustic instruments suspended in time and space. In their own words: "We're trying to not overdo it, with modest grooves and lots of air - musical space - for the listener to fill in.”
