Holy Oker's debut on Moodfamily is overwhelming in all its yet stripped back, bare and without anything fancy to hide behind. These simple but powerful songs expose their raw message through minimal production and earnest lyrics. Made late into the night while harnessing the power of darkness to give contrast to the light, this collection of songs was made with guitars and synths, samples, vocal manipulation, and the simple beauty and power of a 4/4 kick drum underneath Greg's understated and vulnerable voice.
