“It’s all the same”, a phrase that keeps returning in Madota’s (aka Behnam & Mehram) first appearance on Moodfamily. Little do they know that what they’re bringing to the table is actually something totally different. Not only when it comes to electronic music, but also for their own approach to creating music. 

These two Iranian-born, Canadian-grown, Berlin-residing urban shepherds ushered in a new music creation process. As they jammed for hours, “Odesen'' unfolded organically, following its destined course. The song is spontaneous, vulnerable but also has this whimsical nature to it. The incorporation of the piano, one of their favorite instruments, as a percussive ànd as a melodic instrument further accentuates their lust for colorful organic elements coupled with an itch for darker grooves.
